Shows In Pittsburgh, DC & Lansing ONLY, The Supreme Court Is Racist & Sexist & Socialism Is A Part Of Black Culture
With the decision to attack Roe v. Wade, we have to realize this is par for the course when you have a corrupt judicial system!
Hi folks, I missed sending this yesterday because I took to the weekend to actually have a weekend. And I’ve been going to bed a lot earlier the last week or so, which is newish for me, but I’m going to go with it for now. Before I share some of the videos and podcasts for the week, I have some news. Sorry this part will be a tad long
First & foremost, due the rise in cases and the Delta Variant, I’ve had to cancel MOST of my out of town shows. Right now I’ve got 3 MAJOR Live Shows on my calendar. Pittsburgh, DC & Lansing. So let’s go over what’s up with these shows real quick.
Pittsburgh: This show is local at the Irma Freeman Center For Imagination. I’m keeping my local shows because I can implement social distancing more effectively and I know the local show producers are doing the same. So THIS SATURDAY I hope my Pittsburgh friends can come see this new show. Its first full hour I’m doing in over a year and I’m excited to share this new show with you.
Lansing: This show will be very socially distant and the tickets are limited. The Robin Theatre is taking all the precautions they can to ensure a safe environment for the show. So grab your tickets for this show on October 6 as soon as you can! I love Lansing and I love the Robin and not being on that stage 2 years in a row my crush my heart. No pressure, but you should get a ticket if you’re the Lansing & Detroit area.
DC: This show is outdoors, kinda. It’s in the back patio of Smitty’s on October 16. There’ll be individual seating, as well as tables and all that. Being that it’s outside it helps reduce the chances of spread. So I hope some DC friends can make it out to this!
So what about the other cities? Well I would love for all the people that have supported me over the years to see this new show. SO! Here’s the deal, I’m going to do 3 virtual Stand Up Comedy shows over the winter along with the regular monthly virtual shows. This way its like I’m kinda on tour, without being on tour. I will of course let you guys know when these shows will be. They’ll likely be on a Friday night and I’ll have a special guest on each of these shows.
Secondly, I want to apologize for the lack of content. I took a hiatus through a majority of August. I got burnt out due to external stresses and it was definitely affecting my creative work. Between my car being illegally towed by the bank (which I’m still fighting), personal relationship issues and my home environment becoming more toxic, I needed to pull back and reevaluate a few things.
Being that I’m uncomfortable where I’m currently living, I’m struggling with motivations due to discomfort. I have a ton of ideas swirling around in my head. I want to bring my livestreams back and write a lot more. But I’m struggling with focusing on a project, but I’m working on that. For this I apologize to everyone that has supported my work and is waiting on more content from me.
I’ve been taking this time to get my head back in the right place. I’ve seen the amount of work I’ve put into myself & my mental health and how far I’ve come just since April of this year and I’m definitely seeing an improvement since my divorce. But I’m still slowly getting back into work mode. I’m working on finding the right balance of work, personal & recharge time. It’s tough but I’m getting there.
Creatively I’m feeling a tad stuck. I’m working getting unstuck. I’m planning on writing at least 1-2 pieces per week to push through the stuck. Some of these will be essays & stories and others will be video & podcast content. Hopefully this will lead to putting out better & more engaging content on a regular basis.
I thank you for you patience and I very much appreciate you guys & the support you’ve shown me.
Now on to some of the content for week!
